It’s true. This little task that takes less than a hour to set up can actually be a fantastic marketing tool for your and your company.
We analyze our company’s website strengths and weaknesses using Google Analytics. Looking at the numbers tells me one thing: our email signatures refer at least 20% of our website visitors on a monthly basis. And if my email gets forwarded to say, 3 or 4 more people, it increases my chance of getting qualified leads.
So, what’s in a great email signature?
– Your name
– Your email
– Your website address (Preferably a hyperlink)
– Your email address (Or general mailbox is OK, such as info@ or sales@)
– Facebook business page link
– LinkedIn (More business options available. Check it out if you haven’t lately)
– Social Media (Twitter, Google +, Blogs)
This is a great platform to briefly describe your services/products to existing or potential clients.
